History and promotion[]

On  September 28, 2012, Iggy Azalea announced she would be releasing her second mixtape "TrapGold", produced entirely by Diplo and FKi, on 11 October 2012. The mixtape, according to Azalea, is based on feelings she used to get as a teenager before she started attending record label meetings. She described the feelings as "young" and "bulletproof." She later premiered teaser visuals for the track "Bac 2 Tha Future (My Time)".The mixtape's track listing and cover artwork were released on September 30, 2012. The artwork received the stamp of approval from Kylie Minogue. On October 5, 2012, Iggy Azalea released "Down South".On April 3, 2013, she released a music video for the song "Slo."

Tour[]

In November and December 2012, Iggy Azalea headlined a tour in Europe to support "TrapGold".
