S.T.S (an abbreviation of Surviving The Summer) is the upcoming second extended play (EP) by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. It is scheduled for release in 2018 through Island Records.

Developed as a "visual extended play", Iggy Azalea’s songs will be accompanied by non-linear short films that will illustrate the musical concepts conceived during production.

Works began in mid-2017 after the original sophomore album Digital Distortion was scrapped.


On September 2, 2017, after the cancellation of Digital Distortion, Iggy Azalea posted a mysterious snippet of "Surviving the Summer" on Twitter with the hashtag "#STS". [1]

On November 7, 2017, Iggy Azalea announced that her new album is called "Surviving the Summer".[2]

On November 8, 2017, Iggy Azalea explained that she's switched labels and started a new album called "STS", or "Surviving the Summer". [3]

On December 9, 2017, Iggy Azalea announced that she prefers the Surviving the Summer album over her failed Digital Distortion project.[4]

On December 10, 2017, Iggy Azalea posted two new snippets of a song from Surviving the Summer,[5] [6]

On December 18, 2017, Iggy Azalea announced that she'll be re-using "Savior", a fan-favorite track from her previous cancelled album, Digital Distortion.[7]

On December 21, 2017, Forbes mentioned "Surviving the Summer" as one of the most anticipated albums of 2018.[8]

On December 24, 2017, Iggy Azalea shared that the album cover will feature only three letters, "STS", which is the abbreviation used widely on Twitter.[9]
